Galleries!

The galleries site is going through an overhaul...just look at the new breakouts below! Many works have sold, but in each gallery, there are quite a few fine pieces still available, so take a stroll and  a scroll...and enjoy!

The Small Works Gallery

Priced just right between $45 And $65, these unique 2.5” x 3.5” original artworks (size of a baseball card, and professionally matted in 8”x 10” acid-free archival mat w/plastic sleeve) are the perfect collectible, for yourself or as a gift. New pieces are added all the time, so scoop up the one you want before it hits eBay (where these “art cards” are a new and trendy smash!). Shipping is just $3.50, and you can pay via PayPal or by check. Email me for inquiries.

Watercolors, Gouache & Chalkpastels

Working with a combination of these media tools is my favorite way to go at the moment. I’m like a kid with finger paint! I’ve finally combined into one gallery the various works I’ve done with gouache (thick watercolors) and pastels over the past few years.

My Illustrated Journal

I’m learning to draw from life and photos (or at least trying to) and am shocked at what a satisfying venture this is. It’s like taking a snapsnot of something, not with a camera, but with your brain. And one can LEARN to do this! You don’t have to be born with innate talent. Trust me. Danny Gregory has a great book about it.

The 2006 Studio Tour

Whew! I hate getting all this stuff up on the web. I’m always “winging it.” Which means I’m always “going insane.” Take a look at what was up for the show this past October.

The Series

These works are a series of 12 paintings I did during a big health complication in 2004. Most have been sold, but two are still available.

Acrylics

I haven’t painted with acrylics in awhile, as I’ve yet to learn how to glaze and create depth with them. So these pieces are quite flat depth-wise, which I like to call my acrylics “look.”
